June..

What an exciting month it's been. The kids are finally done with school! Hooray! Kyle graduated kindergarten where all the kids performed all kinds of songs. It was so neat to see all my kinders up there on the stage. robert had to leave with Lydia because she was having a  really bad asthma attack, but she started feeling better after they injected her with steroids. 

 

Ok hold the phone...what is Sarah doing in this picture???? Sewing! Yep my dear friend Twylla is so wonderful and patient and agreed to teach me how to sew. So off we went to Wal-mart to pick some fabric out...which Twylla was sooo right about their selection. Not the cutest stuff in the world. So waiting for almost an hour for someone to stop ignoring us and cut the fabric we headed to her house and off I went to make a baby blanket. Unfortunately we ran into a road block and had to stop...I won't say why. Hahahahaha. So more to come later. 

On to a Applebees! Me, Twylla, Jen, Nikki, and my sista met for dinner last week. We had such a great time laughing and eating a mess of yumminess. They are a hoot and we had such a great time. 

On to scrap night. Last month I made a mess of these cards which was sooo fun. I miss card making sometimes. 

After ALOT of thinking I finished my latest layout. whatcha think? I took a Becky Higgins sketches idea and made it my own. Ughhh I don't know what my problem is. It takes me forever to finish a layout its not even funny. Well hope you are all doing well in this miserable heat. Ha! Ta-ta for now. :)

Maddie's 4th Birthday

Wowser's my "baby" isn't a baby anymore!!! Maddie turned 4 on Tuesday and after a day of playing at the Mcdonalds playland, eating pizza, opening presents, being patient as obsessed mom takes pictures & some more pictures, we went to the splash pad/pool and finished it off by eating cake which consists of a huge pan of rice crispie treats decorated with frosting...whew..hahahaha. 

What a hard thing it is to see your youngest grow up. Partly because this is it with the whole baby thing. So that is why Im the creepy lady at church who likes to steal your babies and hold them. LOL . I'm also glad that we are entering a new part of our lives where we can do a lot more things without worrying about a baby or me being prego. Its such an amazing thing to watch our babies grow isn't it? So on awesome note....Drum roll please....Maddie is OFFICIALLY potty trained!!!! (Yep I'm churnin the butter as we speak)  She' s such a big girl who is sooo into Dora the Explorer. She can NOT keep her body still when it comes to music. She does this rather distorted dance when she's in the car. Her head is bopping, EVERTHING is moving all the way down to her toes!! Those who have seen it know what I mean. She can play for hours with her Barbies and Polly Pockets and is rather stubborn when it comes to sharing. LOL. She can definitely hold her own and doesn't hold back when it comes to expressing her emotions. She doesn't even have to say a word because you know what she's thinking by her face. Such a fun girl to photograph! HAHAHA. So Happy Birthday Miss Maddie we love you!!!

Krishna Family Portraits

So I broke the sabbath :D  and had a photo-shoot of a friend of mine & her 3 kids. I always wanted to try the giant lollipop pictures so it was sooo darn fun to have little Landon try it out for me. Here's some of my favorites. In doing this last shoot I think I've finally found my type of photography that I love the best.  I love taking pictures of Children. Its so more relaxed when everything isn't posed. Secondly, I also really like to do portraiture. Taking the "mock" bride photos were an absolute BLAST and the senior sessions were also way fun. Aweeee I love photography!!!

Autumn

After Kelton's baptism on Saturday, Twyllas' sister Autumn let me do a impromptu photo shoot of her cute baby bump. That Prince family has some gorgeous girls!! Unfortunately it was in the good 'ol church parking lot so there wasn't much we could do..hahaha. Thanks Autumn & Bryce aka the cutest prego couple ever!! Here's a few.

Roberts Graduation

So I know this is waayyy late, but I never got around to posting Robert's Graduation event on May 9th. So the quick story behind the video is that when you get up on stage, you were able to have a personal message/thank you to your friends & family so this is how Robert's goes, "Id like to thank my wife Sarah for your love and support and I'd also like to thank all the BIG people." Ya just say that it was pretty darn funny. Man I love that dude and I'm so very proud of him!! Here's to another 4 years of school!!! Thanks to all those that came & supported Rob A. Oh & pause my player to hear the video. :)

Scrapbook Night!

I wasn't really in the mood on Friday to {scrapbook} so I made some cards instead with the SUPER fabulous paper that Erica gave me for my birthday. I want some more of it so if any of you fellow scrappers know what company makes the printed flower paper, let me know!!!

Ok so some of ya'll are going to seriously laugh at me..but thats OK cause I canned peach jam ALL BY MYSELF on Friday. Why you might ask is this such a big dealio?? Cause I have never done it before and I didn't have someone holding my hand either AND it set and is super delicious o!!! So yes I am alittle proud of my accomplishment this weekend. So proud that I have been giving it away like crazy!!! So today I made strawberry jam, so we'll see how that all turned out after I let it sit for 24 hours.
